CALDWELL, KANSAS CATTLE DRIVE CELEBRATION, SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 2017
7:00 am: 15K Cherokee Strip Land Run from Renfrow, OK to Caldwell, KS through the Red Hills! 5K from the state line to Caldwell.
Medallion Hunt: Clues start Wednesday, September 13th
8:00 am: Breakfast and Bloody Marys @ Sugar Sisters on Main Street
8:00 am to 1:00 pm: Farm and Art Market at Heritage Park
9:00 am: Talking Tombstones perform at City Cemetary
9:00 am: Border Queen Museum & Upstairs Roost open all day
10:00 am: PARADE
10:30 am: Longhorn Cattle Parade
11:00 am: Chisholm Trail Checkers – place your bets on the street. Manure = Money!
11:00 am: Street Shoe: “Who Killed Marshall Flatt?”
11:30 am: Book Signing “Pinto the Chisholm Pony” by Stella Dutton at Library
11:00 am to 11:00 pm: Czech Beer Garden & Lawn Games
12 Noon: Food Trucks & Face Painting.
KID GAMES: Petting Zoo, Bow & Arrow, Roping, Tattoos, Cake Walk. Wristbands available for most games. NHS Fundraiser.
1:00 pm: Opera House – Kansas Humanities Speaker, Jim Gray
2:00 pm: Wild Women Portrayals in both Opera House and Upstairs Roose – pick your place, they’ll rotate around.
2:00 pm: Muttin Bustin at 4-H Livestock Arena, 4-7-year-olds, prizes!
2:00 – 8:00 pm: MUSIC FEST on the back lawn (Chisholm & First Avenue). Local musicians with beer garden and tasting event.

4:00 pm: Corn Hole Tournament sponsored by Sugar Sisters!
6:00 pm: Beef Eating Event @ Chisholm and First Avenue. $5.00 per meal.
8:00 pm: DANCE – Border Bandits at Caldwell Community Building. Cost: $5.00, BYOB. Refreshments available. Get your boot scootin’ on!
